Made from cacao beans that have been fermented, toasted and shelled: nothing added or taken away.

Variety: Vraem 15

Tasting notes: Biscuits and roasted hazelnut aroma, with a full bodied, creamy and earthy palate of delicate, clean notes. Integrated acidity. Sweet, lingering finish. Soft, mellow and smooth in energy after drinking.

From the community of Lucerna, 60 miles from Puerto Maldonado.

Harvested, fermented and dried by Jungle Cacao Peru and the Arcochea Perez family. Turned into cacao paste by Luis at Ecodely in Puerto Maldonado. Next stop: you, whenever you are in the world.

Light brown or white coloration in the cacao is due to how the cacao butter and cacao solids have settled after milling. It is totally natural and makes every bar visually unique!
